Early Intervention

I am a special education teacher working in the Early Intervention program, birth to 3 years old. I have five toddlers who only have communication delays. What are some ideas for activities for 1 & 2 year old children and their parents
to encourage their language development?

Reading is one of the best and easiest activites to help a child learn language. Just encourage parents to read slow, describe pictures, and pick out books that are age appropriate. Librarians can be a big help with finding the right books.
