Assessment Tools

by Meg

Hi Everyone,

I am building a speech program from the ground up at an alternative school...grades 3-12. I need to purchase some assessments for the school. I am just getting back into speech therapy as I took a few years off. What assessments could you skill wise, receptive and expressive language, articulation etc. Any help will be appreciated!!

Thanks so much!

Criterion-referenced language assessments
by: Mozelle

If you're looking for some criterion-reference tests I have been using these on Teachers Pay Teachers. This has been a good resource for me this year.

Some of my favorites
by: Kate

My recommendations would be:

language test: Celf-5 and CASL (for older children)
articulation test: Goldman
Test of Auditory Processing (TAP)

Comprehensive Receptive and Expressive Vocabulary Test (CREVT-3)
Test of Problem Solving-2 Adolescent (TOPS-2)
Gray Oral Reading Tests-Fourth Edition (GORT-4)
Test for Auditory Comprehension of Language-Third Edition (TACL-3)
The WORD Test: elementary
PLSI: Pragmatic Language Skills Inventory

Those are some of my favorites. Good luck!
