Hello
I am a support worker for an autistic adult. He can type but not speak and he finds writing uncomfortable. I would like a product that simply allows him to type what he wants to say and for what he types to be displayed on a non-backlit screen, perhaps LCD so it can be read in bright sunlight. No text-to speech. Tablets have too much functionality. Ebook readers are a possibility, but again they are complex. Maybe language translator gadgets would work, but they are confusing because we would not be using them for what they were designed for. I just want a simple display-what-you-type gadget. I can't find one. They must surely exist, but I don't know what they are called. Can you help?
Many thanks
Josh
