The World of a Parent

Now that I am a parent, I have entered the world of unsolicited parenting advice from everyone I have and will ever meet! The internet is full of must do’s and every parent, neighbor, and/or person walking this earth has THE WAY to raise a child from diet, education, sports classes, sleep techniques, etc....

As a new parent, I was a bit shocked how passionate and yet critical the world can be. It is overwhelming.

First Realization...

Then I came to my first realization...the world is not full of critical, judgmental people. Just loving parents.

Everyone loves their children to the moon and back. They want to believe that they made the best decision for their children so in their minds...their way is the only way!

Second Realization...

This brings me to my second realization...every infant, toddler, and teenager is an unique individual, not a paint by number. What works for one child may not be work for another. For that reason...mother knows best!

To know best, it is good to keep up with the news, current research, and bounce ideas off other parents. To know best, you need to be informed!
